19 Day: New Book and Special Chapter

We had a special 19 Days chapter this week! In celebration of Old Xian releasing her second book (which I desperately need to get my hands on), she’s also given us a 19 Days Special, which will be a nice little breather for us from the main plot. There are many rumours saying we’re nearing the end of the plot, which I’m really not looking forward to, not one bit. In the last chapter, Mo’s testicles got another beating (not like that you perverts) and Jian Yi and Zhang have become even more suspicious than ever! So what will this filler entail? Let’s find out…

Plot
All the boys have taken the form of different animals and are acting like animals. Jian Yi cannot find Zhang, and Mo Guanshan doesn’t want to play with He Tian.

Opinion
From what I can see, Jian Yi is a dog and is ten times bigger than Zhang who is a tiny little mouse. Mo Guanshan is a cat which suits him perfectly as he’s soo cold to everyone. He Tian is either a bat, a demon or the AntiChrist. Whatever he’s meant to be he looks really cute. And also terrifying. Look at him break through that window with a smile on face. What a scary boy!

There is a lot of licking in this special. Obviously, the fandom is loving this. I can take it or leave it. I’m not really bothered if I’m honest. What I absolutely love about this special is the minimal use of colour. Your main colours are blue and yellow in different shades, and that is it. Except for the black of course. The artwork is really clean, really simple, nothing about it is too busy. Sometimes less is more, and this is a great example of that.

Next chapter: I think it’ll take place after He Tian wakes up and he confides in Guanshan what happened whilst he was away. Or, it’ll be a Jian Yi and Zhang chapter which would be great as I need more Zhang in my life!!
